Job summary

NYPC Geeks is seeking a part- or full-time IT technician in New York, NY with strong PC knowledge and Windows troubleshooting skills. MAC knowledge is a plus, and you should be comfortable with hardware installations and upgrades.

The role requires networking capabilities, router programming, port forwarding, basic IP knowledge, and network troubleshooting. It is a hands-on position with no micromanagement and an immediate start date.

Qualifications

• Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
• Salary: $15–$25 hourly

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PCs (Windows); assist with upgrades
• Support MAC systems (a plus) and perform basic hardware installs
• Configure and troubleshoot networks, including router programming and port forwarding
• Work on network infrastructure tasks (cable runs, crimps & jacks)
• Assist with ongoing learning and independent work without micromanagement
