Job summary

Utah First Credit Union is seeking an IT Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise technology programs from Salt Lake City. You will coordinate internal teams, stakeholders, and partners to deliver complex technology initiatives on time and within scope.

You will own testing strategies, manage dependencies, and communicate risks and progress to executives, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. A background in APIs, cloud platforms, and software delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, databases, and software delivery methodologies.
• Experience in enterprise technology testing, risk management, and delivery governance.

IT Technical Program Manager

You'll serve as the coordination hub for enterprise technology programs, helping teams make informed decisions, reduce risk, and achieve successful outcomes.

Here's what that looks like day to day:

• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of enterprise technology programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities
• Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party technology partners to manage dependencies, remove obstacles, and drive accountability
• Serve as the enterprise testing lead by developing testing strategies, coordinating user acceptance testing, and validating readiness for technology changes and implementations
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, compliance, and delivery risks while maintaining visibility through clear reporting and governance practices
• Communicate complex technical concepts, program status, risks, and recommendations in a clear and actionable way for executives and non-technical stakeholders

Schedule: Monday-Friday during regular business hours at our Salt Lake City, Utah corporate headquarters.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in a technical program management, software engineering, systems engineering, or related role
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, databases, and software delivery methodologies
• Experience managing enterprise technology testing, risk management, and delivery governance
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Experience working in financial services, FinTech, banking, payments, or other regulated industries preferred
• Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, or similar program management certifications preferred
