Job summary

TEKsystems in Pensacola is seeking a Recruiter Trainee who will begin with an extensive hands-on training program, guided by an onboarding coach, then advance to a Recruiter role handling the full recruiting cycle for IT consultants.

You will build relationships, leverage AI-enabled sourcing, and negotiate compensation while advising clients on market rates and onboarding timelines in a commission-driven environment. A degree or military experience with strong communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree plus 3 years of full-time professional experience or 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer-facing role
• Enthusiasm to network and build strong relationships while maintaining high ethical standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and relate openly with diverse groups
• Desire for a commission-driven, performance-based environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and experiment to find best solutions

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and manage the recruiting cycle, creating a world-class experience
• Build relationships and provide career coaching on market trends, labor rates, and resumes
• Develop effective sourcing strategies using tools including in-house AI tools
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions throughout recruitment
• Advise account managers and clients on skill-set availability, labor rates, and onboarding timelines
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within the aligned specialization
