Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee in Austin, TX. You’ll start with an extensive training program and coaching, then move into a recruiter role handling full-cycle recruiting for IT consultants.

You will build relationships, leverage market insights, and use in-house AI tools to identify top talent, negotiating compensation to fit client needs in a performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, or Associates Degree with 3+ years, or 4+ years in a customer-facing role.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with ethical standards.
• Ability to work in a team and relate to diverse groups.
• Desire to pursue commission-driven, performance-based opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit IT consultants and manage the full recruitment cycle with a world-class experience.
• Build relationships and coach talent on market trends, resumes, and interview techniques.
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools and in-house AI to spot top talent.
• Use AI insights to inform decisions throughout the recruitment process.
• Advise clients on skills, labor rates, hiring location, and timelines.
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients.
