Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Technical Recruiter, IT in Hawthorne, CA to build a high-quality IT talent pipeline for mission-critical roles. You will run a full-desk function covering sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding across IT-related fields, partnering closely with client groups to meet headcount and strategy goals.

Responsibilities include candidate screening, passive sourcing, coordinating interview tours, and managing the offer process with background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
• Experience with in-house recruiting and high-volume recruiting
• Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
• Comfort interfacing with director and VP level technical leaders
• Full life cycle recruiting from sourcing to closing

Responsibilities

• Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy and feedback
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions
• Source candidates, including passive candidates
• Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews
• Give tours to candidates and coordinate candidate experience
• Attend interviews with client groups and act as an advisor
• Lead offer process including background checks and extending offers
