Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, California is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruiting across engineering roles in the Los Angeles area. You will partner with client groups to define headcount, screen and source candidates, and guide interviews from screening through offers.

The role requires strong collaboration with hiring managers, prioritization in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to building a diverse candidate slate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of technical recruiting experience
• 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience
• Experience with in-house recruiting
• Experience with high volume recruiting
• Experience recruiting engineers (electrical, mechanical, aerospace)
• Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles
• Full life cycle recruiting from sourcing to closing
• Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data
• Ability to distinguish top 50% vs top 5% of talent
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
• Ability to present candidates accurately without oversell
• Ability to multi-task with little direction

Responsibilities

• Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions
• Source candidates
• Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates
• Give tours to candidates before onsite
• Attend interviews with client groups
• Manage offer process including background checks and extending offers
