Job summary

Lone Star College-Montgomery seeks a Technician III to support and maintain computer systems, desktops, and peripherals across campus, ensuring optimal workstation performance. You will install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software, troubleshoot end-user issues, and provide training and assistance as required.

Required: high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; strong customer service and IT fundamentals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related IT experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot PC hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Work with end users to identify and deliver PC services.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot workstation hardware and software.
• Provide end-user training and assistance as required.
• Maintain inventory of monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals.
• Receive and respond to calls, pages, and emails regarding PC problems.
