Job summary
Kronospan is seeking an IT System Technician to support day-to-day IT operations at our Alabama facility. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, log incidents, and provide first-call resolution for users on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Information Technology or related field.
- Broad knowledge of computer related systems incl. OS, software, and data communications.
- Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing and operation.
- Associate Degree in technical discipline or CNE certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide Help Desk support and log issues in the ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot computer equipment and peripherals on the manufacturing floor.
- Support bar code printers and scanners and telecommunication equipment.
- Monitor backups and perform recoveries when needed.
- Maintain security of data files and user accounts.
- Coordinate and prioritize service requests for efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
