Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support professional for an onsite role in Chandler, AZ. You will provide Tier-2 IT support for over 600 users, collaborating with Tier-1 and Tier-3 teams to deliver timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, 2+ years in IT support, excellent customer service, and strong teamwork. Occasional travel to other Microchip facilities across North America may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of IT support experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Strong teamwork and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting 600+ users.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support for internal hardware and software.
• Support Windows OS imaging for break-fix and new equipment deployment.
• Manage user accounts and devices in Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Unix/Linux requests as needed.
• Deliver remote support for remote/home-based users.
• Collaborate with Tier-1 and Tier-3 teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in standardizing IT processes and policies.
• Participate in IT and infrastructure projects as needed.
• Travel to other Microchip facilities across North America may be required.
