Job summary

Installed Building Products in Columbus, OH is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to provide first-level support to internal customers. You will manage user accounts, assist with Remote Desktop, printers, and Office 365, and help ensure service requests are completed promptly.

The role is primarily in-office with potential rotational remote days; reports to IT Management; 1–2 years of related experience or technical certification preferred; strong organization and communication skills are

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, training, and procedure manuals.
• Prior experience in a help desk or customer service environment preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related role, or equivalent technical/educational certification.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to learn, adapt, and grow within the position, team, and department.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound first-level support to internal customers.
• Follow up with users as needed to complete service requests.
• Manage personal ticketing queue in alignment with customer service standards.
• Configure and maintain user accounts via Active Directory and Office 365.
• Procure and/or support enterprise cell phones.
• Support and configure local and network printers.
• Provide support for Remote Desktop applications.
• Perform PC system builds and installations.
• Assist in preparing documentation as requested by IT Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
