Job summary

TEKsystems in North Platte, NE is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk/Infrastructure Specialist to support Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, SAN, VOIP, and cloud services such as Office 365, Azure, and AWS. You will work with sales and engineering teams to design solutions and resolve a wide range of end-user and client system issues.

This contract-to-hire role is onsite in North Platte with an hourly pay range of 28 to 42, and benefits including medical/dental/vision,

Qualifications

5+ years of Service Desk & IT infrastructure support in an SMB environment.
5+ years of Windows Server experience.
Experience with MSP technical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design of solutions with our sales and engineering teams.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve second/third level end-user problems (workstations, laptops, software/hardware, network, VPN).
Identify, diagnose, and resolve client system/server issues, including space and error messages for escalation.
Set up, maintain, and manage client Windows Server environments.
Set up, maintain, and manage client cloud environments.
Set up, maintain, and manage client network environments.
Create and maintain client documentation.
Be an advocate for customer needs and manage expectations.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
