Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC seeks an IT Support Analyst to manage and support all information systems, including desktops, laptops, shop computers, VoIP, LAN/WAN, and mobile devices.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, system maintenance, virtualization, network configurations, and user training across the region; travel to remote or branch locations is expected as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree and 2+ years or 5+ years of experience in the IT area.
• Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
• Tier 2-3 Help Desk experience.
• Trainer role in system basics for end users.
• Working knowledge of vlans, networking configurations and Meraki.
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, and Hyper-V preferred.
• Experience with various scripting tools including PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, phones, printers, fax machines, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot remote computing components such as WiFi and Windows Mobile devices.
• Provide basic training for IT products and programs to regional users.
• Maintain, configure, and operate computer systems, servers, and virtualization.
• Document technical specifications for IT upgrades and projects.
• Assist in budgeting and IT inventory management.
• Travel to remote or branch locations as needed.
