Job summary

Ashland Conveyer Products is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide comprehensive IT support across help desk, desktop, ERP, and system/network administration. This role will ensure secure, reliable IT services and collaborate with the Woodsage facility IT Manager in Holland OH on shared services and projects.

You will own daily IT operation stability for production-critical systems, assist end-users, and drive improvements in security, backup, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT roles with strong IT systems and infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments (office and plant IT) is preferred.
• ERP user support experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software across desktops, servers, and networks.
• Familiarity with database administration principles and database systems.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with end-users and teams.
• Manufacturing industry experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk and desktop support to end-users and ERP users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Maintain desktop OS and software applications; support ERP operations and security.
• Own daily IT operational stability for production-critical systems.
• Act as escalation point for plant IT incidents.
• Design, implement, and manage computer networks (LAN/WAN, wireless).
• Manage security and risk mitigation for IT systems.
