Job summary

Dobbs Equipment is seeking an IT Specialist to support all information technology needs across desktop, shop computers, VoIP, LAN/WAN, and mobile devices in Riverview, FL. This full-time role requires hands-on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user training.

The candidate should be experienced with SAP/Oracle ERP, SAN concepts, VLANs, Meraki networking, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V). Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree and 2+ years or 5+ years of experience in the IT area.
• Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
• Trainer role in system basics for end users
• Working knowledge of vlans, networking configurations and Meraki
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, and Hyper-V preferred
• Experience with various scripting tools including PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, phones, printers, fax machines, mobile devices, and copiers.
• Troubleshoot remote computing components such as WiFi, Aircards and Windows Mobile devices.
• Provide training for IT products and programs to meet regional needs.
• Maintain and operate computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
• Document specifications for IT infrastructure upgrades and planning.
• Install or assist with hardware and software across facilities.
