Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the IT Service Desk, log and resolve incidents, and manage access and provisioning. You will conduct research on computing issues, fulfill hardware/software requests, and engage with customers for quick resolutions.

The role emphasizes problem management, documentation, and training users on system capabilities, with a focus on Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and virtualization tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Four years' experience in systems analysis and applications programming or closely related experience.
• Florida Class E Driver's License required for duration of appointment.
• ITIL, Microsoft, and CompTIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls for service and provide first level over-the-phone resolutions; maintain records and documentation.
• Respond to second level field support calls; process requests for new desktop hardware/software, including installations, upgrades and training; handle procurements.
• Install, configure and maintain network and communications hardware and software; troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems.
• Test new code, validate usage with users, perform regression testing, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user provisioning and access control; adjust application access per user profiles; modify web pages as needed.
• Train users on system capabilities, personalization, and other computer topics; assist with deployments and support.
