Job summary

DCCCA Day Reporting Ctr in Wichita, KS seeks an IT Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals, and to manage accounts and access. You will support Microsoft 365, VPN, and remote access, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user training.

Travel up to 20% may be required, with strong communication and independent work capabilities. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT support, MSP exposure, and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree or a high school diploma/GED with 2–3 years related work experience.
• 2+ years in IT support, systems administration, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of networking, endpoints, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with MSP or co-managed IT environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with external partners.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and audiovisual equipment.
• Supports network equipment, wireless connectivity, internet services, and telecommunications.
• Manages user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and applications.
• Provides Microsoft 365 support, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Handles password resets, MFA, and connectivity issues; responds to help desk requests promptly.
• Onboards/offboards users; deploys devices; assists with software installation and asset recovery.
• Delivers end-user training on hardware, software, security, and best practices.
• Maintains incident docs, service requests, and tech procedures; escalates when needed.
• Monitors systems, performs routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades.
• Supports VPN and remote troubleshooting; maintains accurate asset inventory.
