Job summary

Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking an IS Intern to provide hands-on support to PC Technicians and occasionally learn from Systems, Network, and Security Engineers. You will assist with configuring, installing, and troubleshooting PC workstations, monitor the Help Desk queue, document resolutions, and attend departmental meetings.

The role involves shadowing engineers to learn about systems, security, and networks, and is based in Hyannis, MA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in High school or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
• Experience in the use of basic PC applications including MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Assists in configuring, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC Workstations, applications, and printers.
• Monitors the Help Desk ticketing queue, fielding tickets, and providing resolutions to users. Documents resolutions in online tickets and closes tickets accordingly.
• Attends departmental meetings.
• Shadows systems, security, and network engineers to learn about those fields.
