Job summary

Tank Connection is seeking an IT Intern in Parsons, KS to assist with software and network support, end-user training, and routine IT maintenance. The role focuses on hands-on problem solving and efficient ticket handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose hardware/software issues, install/configure devices, and help document requests through the IT Help Desk system while collaborating with staff. Enrollment in an IT-focused program and a HS diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
• Proficiency with multiple productivity software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, G-Suite, etc.)
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
• Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software problems as needed.
• Train staff as needed on hardware and software use.
• Use the IT Help Desk request system to document, prioritize, and track requests.
• Install and configure new computers and telephones.
• Repair and upgrade PC or mobile device hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and copiers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
