Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking an IT Support Technician in Minnesota to install, repair, and maintain computer systems. The role covers hardware/software upgrades, troubleshooting, and user consultations in a collaborative team setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of technology support experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications such as A+ and HDI certificates. Work may include nights or weekends with valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, College education desired but not required
2 years of technology support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
A+ Certification or equivalent required
HDI Support Center Analyst Certificate, HDI Desktop Support Technician Certificate or equivalent required

Responsibilities

45% Installs, repairs, and maintains computer system.
30% Documents, maintains, upgrades, and replaces hardware and software systems.
10% Complete special projects and assignments as directed.
10% Consults and advises on use of the systems. Communicates with employees relating to system issues.
5% Other duties as assigned.
