Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced IT professional to own the IT side of mergers and acquisitions, performing due diligence, integration planning, and post-close migration of people, devices, and systems onto Anthropic's stack. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring coding, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with Security, Legal, Finance, and Business teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a hands-on engineer in corporate IT with end-to-end ownership, migrations or integrations, and supporting other areas.
• Experience administering enterprise identity and collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, SSO) and writing code in Python against SaaS APIs.
• Working knowledge of endpoint management and security concepts.
• Ability to quickly understand an unfamiliar IT environment and present a prioritized risk view to non-specialists.
• Proven track record leading technical projects spanning several teams with fixed deadlines.
• Comfort working autonomously, with ambiguity and confidential information.
• Clear communication with executives, legal and corporate development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical IT due diligence: assess identity, apps, endpoints, and infrastructure and brief the deal team on risk before close.
• Identify gaps between acquired environments and Anthropic's security model and build mitigations into the integration plan.
• Define the technical integration plan and its requirements: what moves, where it lands, and what must be ready on day one.
• Run the integration: take over administration, migrate people, devices, and data, and retire obsolete systems.
• Collaborate with Business Technology, Client Platform, Corporate Network, IT Operations, and Security on each integration.
• Keep Corporate Development, Legal, People, Finance, and the acquired team informed on IT status.
• Build a repeatable IT M&A playbook and automate as much as possible with Claude.
• When M&A workload is light, contribute to core Corporate Systems projects.
