Job summary

VC3, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking an IT Systems Engineer I to support client environments across Windows servers, AD, O365, and network services. This role focuses on rapid issue resolution and proactive maintenance.

You will participate in on-call rotation, implement security improvements, and document solutions to ensure consistent, high-quality service for municipal and business clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant technical experience or 1 year as VC3 Service Technician I/II.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated service requests, incidents and change requests promptly.
• Troubleshoot across LOB apps, Microsoft Office, browsers, networking (DNS, DHCP, ISP), VPN/RDS/Citrix, wireless, and printers.
• Perform admin tasks: virus/malware removal, phishing remediation, VM resource changes, and password resets.
• Expertise with Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365/Entra ID.
• Identify recurring issues and create problem tickets.
• Recommend improvements to hardware/software to enhance security posture.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and detailed troubleshooting notes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation (1 week every 3–4 months).
• Additional duties as required.
