Responsibilities
- Provides evaluation and implementation services for new products, technologies, and solutions to address corporate business requirements.
- Works beyond the routine utilizing specialized knowledge and analysis of multiple variables.
- Has a thorough and comprehensive mastery of supported platforms/products and environments.
- Participate in projects related to enhancement, upgrade/patching, or implementation of new or existing technology solutions.
- Assist with strategic planning activities such as capacity planning, process improvement, maintenance, upgrade, end-of-life planning, and roadmap development.
- Identify technical innovation and process improvement opportunities.
- Utilize standard tools and methodology to develop systems and support performance metrics.
- Perform technical mentoring and cross-training with team members.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and expertise with CommonSpirit Health business processes and routines.
- This position is remote eligible.
Qualifications
- BA or BS in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in an IT technical or infrastructure field.
- Experience with evaluation and implementation of new products and technologies.
- Mastery of supported platforms/products and environments.
- Participation in medium to large scope projects involving technology solutions.
- Experience in strategic planning activities like capacity planning, process improvement, and roadmap development.
- Ability to identify innovation and process improvements.
- Proficiency with standard tools and methodologies for systems development and performance metrics.
- Technical mentoring and cross-training skills.
- Basic knowledge of CommonSpirit Health business processes.
Citrix Experience
- 3+ years managing Citrix infrastructure, including Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- 2+ years deploying Citrix updates, patches, and upgrades.
- 2+ years configuring and managing PVS images for servers and VDI.
- Knowledge of Citrix policies, profiles, and configurations.
- Experience in capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for Citrix infrastructure.
- Ability to mentor and train junior team members.
