The Management And Systems Engineer’s Duties Include:
- Assist in the development and management of requirements for nuclear infrastructure project delivery.
- Assemble and manage the definition of high-level requirements to satisfy customer and project end goals.
- Manage and oversee the development of derived requirements during early design definition.
- Manage Contract and SOW requirements.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the project, including with clients, internal resources, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Interface with clients and assist the project team in developing interface definitions and controls for integration across disciplines and with third-party equipment.
- Organize work and project teams within company, program, and project standards.
- Document requirements using a database tool for documentation and control.
- Assist in verifying that requirements are satisfied during project delivery, demonstrating achievement through database tools and reports.
- Support change management processes and assess impacts on requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project delivery and people management roles.
- Knowledge of disciplines related to nuclear facility infrastructure.
- Self-starter with collaborative working skills across multiple levels.
- Strong relationship management, facilitation, and consulting skills.
- Experience with the Engineering Design Process, including control of inputs and verification/validation of outputs.
- If required, ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
- Advanced engineering knowledge in change management, or experience leading change control processes.
- Experience with contract and SOW management.
- Experience maintaining requirements management systems or tools.
- Proficiency in technical documentation review and writing.
- Knowledge of safety and operational requirements from design to implementation, including industry standards and regulations.
- Understanding of DOE orders, standards, and guidelines relevant to requirements management.
