Job summary

The City of Springdale is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, configure, and maintain networks, servers, and related equipment for City services. You will provide second‑level support, monitor systems, and ensure secure, reliable operations across departments.

Responsibilities include AV setup, camera surveillance maintenance, and desktop image management, with on‑call duties as needed. Experience with IP cameras and network security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum three years of experience and/or training in computer and/or network security systems, AV equipment, and related technologies.
• Proficient with desktop hardware and software including IP cameras and printers.
• Ability to utilize internal and external resources to complete assignments and projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers and maintain reliable attendance.
• Install, configure and maintain network, servers, and related equipment.
• Provide second-level support for client issues, including ticketing and troubleshooting.
• Monitor systems and implement changes to improve performance and security.
