Job summary

Polk County Public Schools is seeking an IST - Analyst, Operational Support to perform advanced technical work in the District Office Data Center, handling systems access, account management, change management, network monitoring and security event response.

Responsibilities include supporting end users, managing accounts, and coordinating with School Board members. This role is based at the District Office in Bartow, FL, with full-time hours and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
• Two years of experience in Windows environments with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 is desirable.
• Experience providing end-user technical support via email or ticketing system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a daily calendar for each School Board member.
• Provides advanced technical work in the District Office Data Center including systems access, account management, change management, network monitoring and security event response.
