Job summary

MedicalVirtual is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams in a healthcare IT setting. You will gather requirements, develop specifications, and drive QA activities including test plans, validation, and user training to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions.

Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, planning migrations, and coordinating with developers to deliver end-to-end IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in an analyst role in a healthcare facility or a similar setting.
• 2-4 years of experience documenting requirements, building specs and managing IT projects.
• 2-4 years of experience interacting with stakeholders, providing user support, and understanding complex systems.
• 2-4 years of experience testing web and mobile applications and performing standard QA functions.
• Master’s degree preferred; PMI-PBA Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred experience in Scrum, Agile, SQL, JavaScript, SSMS, Postman, Azure DevOps, Scripting.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, analyzes, coordinates, and serves as liaison for activities, projects, and programs related to new business opportunities.
• Researches developments in new technologies and translates requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Develops end-to-end test plans and executes to ensure objectives are met and solutions work as expected.
• Provides 1st level user support, troubleshooting and training to facilitate adoption of solutions.
• Defines detailed functional and technical specifications for complex programs and works with development teams to implement them.
