Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking an IT Systems Analyst II to act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and recommend technology solutions to support organizational goals.

You will also perform QA activities, develop test plans, validate functionality, and provide user training and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in an analyst role in a healthcare facility or similar setting.
• 2-4 years of experience documenting requirements, building specs and managing IT projects.
• 2-4 years of experience interacting with stakeholders, providing user support, and understanding complex systems.
• 2-4 years of experience testing web and mobile applications and performing standard QA functions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, analyzes, coordinates, and serves as liaison for activities related to new business opportunities.
• Researches developments in new technologies, analyzes and determines business requirements, and develops migration plans.
• Develops technical solutions to customer problems and translates outcomes into functional and business solutions.
• Escalates issues and assists resolution by gathering logs and documenting analysis.
• Creates end-to-end test plans, executes them, and ensures objectives are met.
• Performs statistical and analytical research of large data sets for decision-making.
• Defines detailed functional and technical specifications for complex programs and projects.
• Works with the development team to provide feedback across project cycles.
• Assists in automating business requirements and integrating with processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves well-defined incidents and service requests.
• Provides 1st level end-user support for application incidents and requests.
• Performs post-implementation review to assess project effectiveness.
