Job summary

MedicalVirtual is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams in a healthcare IT setting. You will gather requirements, develop specifications, and drive QA activities including test plans, validation, and user training to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions.

Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, planning migrations, and coordinating with developers to deliver end-to-end IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in an analyst role in a healthcare facility or a similar setting.
• 2-4 years of experience documenting requirements, building specs and managing IT projects.
• 2-4 years of experience interacting with stakeholders, providing user support, and understanding complex systems.
• 2-4 years of experience testing web and mobile applications and performing standard QA functions.
• Master’s degree preferred; PMI-PBA Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred experience in Scrum, Agile, SQL, JavaScript, SSMS, Postman, Azure DevOps, Scripting.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium is a plus.

In addition to business analysis responsibilities, this role performs quality assurance activities, including developing and executing test plans, validating system functionality, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. Also provides technical support by assisting users with troubleshooting, resolving system issues, training users, and facilitating the successful adoption and ongoing use of technology solutions. Job Specific Duties Plans, analyzes, coordinates, and serves as liaison for the activities, projects, and programs related to new business opportunities. Researches developments in new technologies, analyzes and determines business requirements, and develops migration and implementation plans. Develops technical solutions to customer problems and translates outcomes into functional and business solutions. Escalates issues that are not clearly defined or require deeper system changes, while assisting in resolution by gathering logs, reproducing issues, and providing detailed documentation and analysis. Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan of projects; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. Performs statistical and analytical research of large data sets for decision-making and planning purposes. Defines detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for complex and high dollar program and projects. Works with the development team to provide continuous iterative feedback on all cycles of the project Assists the team in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes.
