The ideal candidate will have strong Active Directory experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a background supporting a wide variety of business applications and technologies. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, interacting directly with employees throughout the facility, and resolving technical issues in a hands‑on environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and application‑related issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access requests, and account lifecycle activities within Active Directory.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Microsoft Windows operating systems and a variety of business applications.
  • Support a diverse application environment, quickly learning and troubleshooting unfamiliar systems.
  • Respond to IT incidents and service requests through phone, email, ticketing systems, and in‑person interactions.
  • Install, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot conference room A/V systems, phones, and peripheral devices.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures within the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with remote IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot infrastructure and equipment issues.
  • Provide hands‑on support for network closets, data center equipment, and other onsite IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain IT assets, inventory, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation to support critical business operations.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on IT support, desktop support, or technical support experience, preferably in a complex, multi‑application environment.
  • Strong Active Directory experience, including user account management, permissions, access troubleshooting, and general administration.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to independently diagnose issues and identify solutions.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, hardware, and common enterprise technologies.
  • Experience working in environments with multiple business applications and software platforms, with the ability to learn and support unfamiliar systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues beyond basic password resets and routine help desk requests.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a personable, approachable demeanor and comfort providing in‑person support to employees.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and collaborate with local and remote technical teams.
  • Willingness to participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation and respond onsite within required timeframes.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment and meet applicable site safety and physical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting IT operations in an industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or other 24/7 operational environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, endpoint management, and IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience providing onsite infrastructure support and working with remote technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a well‑rounded IT professional who brings more than basic help desk experience. The right candidate will have a strong technical foundation, particularly in Active Directory, and be confident troubleshooting unfamiliar issues across different systems and applications.
