Job summary

iRocket seeks an IT Specialist/Systems Administrator to maintain and grow internal IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. You will support on-premises and cloud environments, manage IAM, and drive security practices in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, documentation, and proactive problem solving to ensure reliable IT operations across the company.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years as systems administrator or similar role.
Experience managing Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Hands-on networking experience (firewalls, VPN, switches, routing).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infra.
Strong security mindset and endpoint security awareness.

Responsibilities

Maintain, support, and monitor internal IT systems (servers, workstations, network, cloud services, backups).
Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, and system improvements.
Administer identity and access management, permissions, and directory services.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; provide helpdesk support.
Ensure cybersecurity best practices, security monitoring, and incident response.
Document IT architecture, policies, procedures, and system configurations.
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
Support onboarding/offboarding of employees with IT provisioning.
