Job summary

Holston Home for Children in Greeneville, TN, is seeking a IT Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day computer systems and network activities. This role ensures system availability, security updates, and reliable support for staff across the agency.

The ideal candidate has education in IT or related field and experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Office 365, and Exchange Online, plus strong confidentiality and adaptability to schedule changes.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties.
Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Must be flexible and willing to work with occasional changes in scheduling.
Must subscribe to the Agency’s Mission Statement and Organizational Values.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory and records for servers, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment.
Assign and reclaim devices as staff onboard and offboard with the Agency.
Plan and process security updates on all servers, hypervisors, and workstations.
Coordinate with software providers to support line of business applications.
Update IT documentation and guides as the environment changes.
Work with vendors on hardware/software quotes and procurement.
Troubleshoot to isolate and diagnose common networking, computer, and printing issues.
Install and manage security cameras.
Complete IT tickets and work requests.
Experience with these platforms is required: Active Directory; Windows Server file servers, print servers and similar; Office 365 and Exchange Online.
