Job summary

House Hasson Hardware Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking an IT Computer and Networking Technician II to provide hands-on technical support, install and maintain hardware, software, and network systems, and ensure secure, reliable operations across the organization. This onsite role requires 2–4 years in IT support, an Associate degree or equivalent, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.

You will work with Microsoft 365, AD, VPN, and warehouse technologies, documenting procedures

Qualifications

Associates degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of IT support or help desk experience.
CompTIA A+/Network+ and/or Microsoft certifications desired.
Experience with ticketing/help desk systems.
Experience supporting warehouse technologies (barcode scanners, RF devices).

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install and configure desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Set up user accounts and provisioning for new hires.
Design, install, and troubleshoot network systems and components.
Create and maintain system drawings and documentation.
Assist with Microsoft 365 applications and remote connectivity.
Troubleshoot VPN and wireless network connectivity.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and licenses.
Assist with disaster recovery and cybersecurity initiatives.
