Job summary

Riverside Machine & Engineering in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an IT Specialist to provide support, maintenance, and improvements to the organization’s total IT infrastructure. You will serve as the primary helpdesk escalation point and assist the systems administrator as directed by the IT Manager.

The role requires an IT-related degree or 2 years of IT experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing duties.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or two years of IT experience is required.
• Able to work with people in a professional manner.
• Excellent computer skills and technical capacity.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides support, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvements to the organization’s total infrastructure.
• Provides helpdesk support as the primary escalation point for helpdesk and provides execution support to the systems administrator as directed by the IT Manager.
• Assists with the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of security standards such as CMMC, NIST across the entirety of the company’s infrastructure.
• Maintains and administers building access, paging and AV systems.
• Provides IT support for Production systems (ovens, shop floor data collection, CMM systems, production floor software).
• Setup and deploy IT assets, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices and wireless telephony.
