Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking an IT Systems Administrator at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. You will be the technical escalation point for complex IT issues, supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, cloud platforms, and IAM across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT, experience with Intune/Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Security, and IT Support, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with IAM, SSO, MFA and endpoint management security best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, authentication mechanisms, and device management.
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless, and troubleshooting.
• Experience documenting technical processes and maintaining system documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced IT issues from IT Support and other teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, endpoint, IAM, and cloud-related issues.
• Administer enterprise endpoint management platforms including Intune and Jamf.
• Support IAM and access management through Okta and Google Workspace.
• Provision/deprovision user accounts, devices, and permissions following IAM best practices.
• Support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, and other enterprise clouds.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux across end-user and server environments.
• Assist with networking: DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching, and Wi‑Fi issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Networking, and IT Support teams to resolve incidents.
• Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and improve workflows.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and system upgrades.
• Maintain security best practices and assist with compliance initiatives.
• On-call rotation or after-hours support as required.

Experience Windows & macOS

Scripting/Automation (PowerShell/Bash/Python) (preferred)

MDM, endpoint security, compliance tools (preferred)

Cloud identity platforms familiarity (preferred)
