Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and user assistance.

You will configure servers and networks, manage AD/DNS/DHCP, perform upgrades, enforce security, back up data, and assist with disaster recovery and vendor coordination.

A BS in CS/IT or equivalent experience and 3+ years in IT are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of IT systems administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print services.
• Perform system upgrades and patches in a timely and controlled manner.
• Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup procedures.
• Respond to IT support requests and provide user training as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external IT policies and standards.
