Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. is seeking a capable IT Systems Administrator in Williamsport, PA to manage and support our IT infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of systems and networks while providing user support and training.

The role involves implementing security protocols, performing upgrades, and maintaining documentation. Collaboration with vendors and after-hours support are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT systems administration or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print services.
• Perform system upgrades and patches in a timely and controlled manner.
• Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup procedures.
• Respond to IT support requests and provide user training as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external IT policies and standards.
