Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a skilled IT professional in St. Louis to analyze management needs for application systems and coordinate development between users and IT staff.

You will manage configuration, upgrades, and documentation for server and virtual environments, while using data to identify inefficiencies in current systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–6 years related experience.
• Experience in operating systems, software tools and project management methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco UCS, VMware Hypervisor, Windows Server OS, and related technologies.
• Ability to monitor and resolve problems with distributed computer systems components.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes management needs regarding application systems and recommends solutions to business problems.
• Coordinates development efforts between end user and IT development/support staff.
• Configures, upgrades, documents and supports custom property and information system applications.
• Utilizes data to evaluate current systems and identify inefficiencies and unmet needs.
• Installs new applications and updates hardware requirements for servers, SAN, and virtual environments.
• Maintains system documentation and inventory of IT assets.
