Job summary

Flare is seeking a Systems Administrator to own and scale our internal IT and corporate systems with a focus on employee experience, reliability, and efficiency. You’ll be the primary global owner of end-user technology, identity, and device management in a fast-growing startup.

The role blends hands-on technical work with people leadership, working in a hybrid Scottsdale, AZ environment. You will automate onboarding/offboarding, manage macOS/Windows endpoints, and help roll out AI-powered

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of IT systems administration, IT operations, or corporate IT in a SaaS/cloud-first environment.
• Experience managing macOS and Windows endpoints at scale using MDM tools and administering identity providers such as Okta.
• Ability to design onboarding/offboarding workflows and document processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations and end-user support for a hybrid company, serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues.
• Design onboarding, offboarding, and role-change workflows with automation to improve the employee experience.
• Manage identity, device, and SaaS systems across macOS, Windows, and cloud tools, including access control and provisioning.
• Coordinate with a contract IT administrator in Tel Aviv to ensure global support coverage.
• Maintain office and remote infrastructure (networks, VPN, secure access) in partnership with Security and Engineering.
• Introduce scripts and lightweight processes to reduce manual work and friction.
• Administer internal AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini) and rollout AI-powered workflows.
