Job summary

Iceberg in San Francisco is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to scale and secure our internal technology environment. You will own core IT systems, identity management, endpoint administration, and automation to support a fast-growing global workforce.

You'll automate onboarding/offboarding, develop scripts (Python preferred), and contribute to security initiatives while delivering high-quality technical support across the organization. This role offers ownership and visibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace and macOS environments
• SaaS administration and endpoint management understanding
• Scripting experience, Bash preferred
• Passion for automation and continuous improvement
• Awareness of security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ownership-driven problem solving approach
• Identity and access management projects
• Onboarding and lifecycle automation
• Privileged access or security tooling exposure
• Experience in high-growth technology businesses or scale-ups

Responsibilities

• Managing identity and access lifecycle with Okta
• Administering core SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace
• Owning Mac endpoint management with Jamf
• Automating onboarding and offboarding processes
• Providing high-quality technical support across the organisation
• Developing scripts and automations (Python preferred)
• Supporting security initiatives and best-practice controls
• Identifying opportunities to streamline IT operations at scale
