Job summary

Forterra, a leading provider of autonomous systems, seeks an IT Support Technician to join the Enterprise Services team in a fast‑growing environment. You will handle Tier 1 support across Linux, Windows, and macOS, own issues through to resolution, and develop automation scripts to boost efficiency.

You will assist with onboarding, access control, AV setup, and asset management, contributing to a high‑quality user experience.

Qualifications

3+ years in an IT Service Desk or technical support role.
Proficiency with Linux administration and debugging (user management, system logs, networking, package management).
Experience with service management platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 support across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
Own support issues and drive them to efficient resolution with root‑cause analysis.
Develop scripts (PowerShell/Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve support efficiency.
Support onboarding, access control, and user lifecycle management.
Assist with AV setup, endpoint deployment, and hardware troubleshooting.
Maintain asset management and operational documentation.
Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance processes and user experience.
