Job summary

Terracon seeks a motivated IT Service Desk Technician to assist Terracon employees with computer systems, software, and networking. You will diagnose issues, install software, and guide users through troubleshooting steps, ensuring prompt resolutions.

This on-site role requires up to 1 year of help desk experience, an associate degree in information systems, and knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Teams, Exchange, AD, and VPN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 1-year help desk related experience.
• Associate's degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office 365 products.
• Knowledge of AD, Teams, Exchange, and VPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service on IT issues for Terracon employees.
• Respond to inquiries, run diagnostics, install hardware/software, and resolve problems.
• Open/close IT Service Desk work orders and escalate when needed.
• Document issues, tests, and resolutions in incident records.
• Re-image workstations and laptops as required.
• Maintain records of hours and contribute to safety standards.
