Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Technician I in Technology Management & Support within Information Services. This full-time day position (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) focuses on building a reliable IT infrastructure and providing timely Tier 2 support to users.

The selected candidate will install and troubleshoot end-user devices, coordinate with IT teams, and contribute to documentation and ITSM metrics. A BA/BS and 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2+ years of related IT experience.
• Ability to lift ≥40 lbs.
• May require nights/weekends/off-peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 IT support to end users, diagnose and resolve issues.
• Install, maintain, and support end-user infrastructure equipment.
• Assist with ticket documentation and journal entries.
• Participate in small projects and software/hardware upgrades.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical users.
