Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk in Patchogue, NY is seeking a Technician II-Technology Management - Information Services for a full-time shift 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The role develops IT infrastructure, runs, maintains and troubleshoots systems, servers, networks, and desktops.

Responsibilities include end-user device administration, providing Tier 2 support, and participating in small projects; also maintain documentation and ensure ticket closure in service standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more.
• May require nights/weekends/off-peak hours work occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supports End User Infrastructure including devices, software and connectivity.
• Provide Tier 2 help desk assistance and on-site support to users.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.
• Document solutions and maintain journal entries and tickets.
