Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Technician I to join our Information Services team on days (Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM–04:00 PM). You will apply IT discipline expertise to maintain a reliable end-user infrastructure that supports patients, clinicians, and staff across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting end-user devices (PCs, Macs, printers, LAN, AV, video conferencing, phones), providing Tier 2 support, assisting with small projects,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to lift >= 40 lbs.
• May require nights/weekends/off-peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices and connectivity.
• Provide Tier 2 phone and on-site assistance; escalate as needed.
• Troubleshoot desktop issues and perform virus checks.
• Train end users and help desk staff on HW/SW and procedures.
• Assist with small IT projects and document solutions.
