D.L. Evans Bank is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver front-line help desk support for users, maintain PCs and peripherals, verify software, and assist with licensing and inventory controls. You will collaborate with IT management and network admins to maintain a robust IT environment.

The role emphasizes professional service at all levels, training new users, and coordinating with corporate offices to ensure high availability and timely problem resolution across departments.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of experience and/or training in computer hardware, software, and basic networking
• Understanding of PC hardware and knowledge of program applications
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications as well as proficient typing skills
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be well organized

Responsabilidades

• Receives and prioritizes calls and emails from users. Assigns tasks to trouble tickets and ensures problems are tracked, measured, resolved, and verified
• Provides first-line support through phone, email, or in-person to resolve hardware, software and network issues
• Maintains backup for the maintenance of backup disk distribution
• Provides information to all users regarding system status, operability, proper equipment use, and printer functions on a case by case basis
• Loads and verifies software and checks for correct operations on new systems
• Assists with hardware and software licensing functions and assists with inventory management
• Verifies proper performance of backup systems
• Ships and receives equipment to and from the IT Center
• Monitors system performance to ensure high levels of availability
• Provides new users with first time training regarding system usage
• Tracks and resolves problems promptly and effectively. Ensures optimal service
• Ensures that deadlines are met
• Obtains and conveys information as needed. Logs all problems including cause and resolution information
• Notifies all involved parties when tickets are opened and closed
• Tracks and records resolutions of problems for future reference, training, and reporting
• Cooperates in a team environment to promote strong customer assistance and learning
• Works with different departments to assist in providing technical solutions as needed
• Keeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Attends meetings as required
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date reports
• Performs special projects as assigned
• Maintains the professional reputation of D.L. Evans Bank and promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
• Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
