Job summary

NTMWD is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide desktop and network assistance across the district, including support for executives and staff. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage Active Directory, and assist with AV equipment in meeting spaces.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; 2 years’ desktop PC support or equivalent experience preferred.
• A+, Network+, ITIL or similar certifications are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to support executives and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides computer/network support for software and hardware problems reported by users.
• Serves as Tier 1 technical resource for network users and supports installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains user accounts in Active Directory and supports AV room equipment as needed.
• Performs in-depth troubleshooting in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
