Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver end-user desktop support and IT services at our Greene, NY location. You’ll assist with device deployment, software updates, and user account administration while upholding security guidelines and strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in corporate IT desktop support, solid communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This is an in-person role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with mobile and desktop device setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Typically 3–5 years of corporate IT desktop support experience.
• ITIL Foundations Certification or ITSM/ITIL experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via telephone and email while offering technical support.
• Perform maintenance tasks and configuration with desktop management tools, including updates and patches.
• Configure and deploy client equipment for file sharing, printing, email and internet use.
• Understand client OS and applications related to company services.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups and permissions.
• Create and maintain user accounts and passwords per security guidelines.
• Track and distribute approved software via inventory systems.
• Review and improve helpdesk procedures with IT Managers.
• Document and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution; create Knowledge Base articles.
• Maintain professional conduct per Core Values and collaborate effectively.
