Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Client Support Technician to join our team at Eglin AFB.

In this role you will install and configure end-user hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, apply patches, and manage user accounts while adhering to security requirements. A current Secret clearance is required, with TS/SCI possible. The position involves coordinating with back-office teams to ensure responsive support.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (or 2 additional years of experience in lieu).
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II or higher.
• Experience installing and configuring end-user hardware, software and peripherals.
• Experience troubleshooting user issues and providing technical assistance.
• Experience installing patches and configuring client systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Experience maintaining peripheral equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot user issues and provide technical assistance and product support / setup for OS and applications (e.g., MS Office, email, browsers, printers, network drives).
• Install patches and modify client system configurations to protect against vulnerabilities (STIGs and updates).
• Install and maintain printers, modems, scanners and other peripherals.
• Ensure limited user access and permissions per regulatory requirements (ISSO oversight).
• Facilitate and coordinate user account creation and modification.
• Manage user support and coordinate with back shop staff when extra help is needed.
