Job summary

Talent Groups in Columbia, SC is seeking an IT support specialist to provide in-person, remote, and ticket-based assistance to end users. You will troubleshoot Windows and macOS machines, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity, and you will set up workstations, monitors, docking stations, and related equipment.

You will assist with onboarding and tech refresh cycles, support classroom and conference-room AV, and help with video-conferencing tools like Teams and Zoom.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting computers, software, or end users.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, remote, and ticket-based technical support.
• Troubleshoot Windows/macOS computers, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Set up and deploy workstations, computers, monitors, docking stations, and equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and technology refreshes.
• Support classroom, conference-room AV, and video-conferencing.
• Assist with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, and presentation technology
• Support endpoint/device management and routine software updates
• Assist with technology inventory, equipment tracking, documentation, and IT projects
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required
