The IT Support Technician supports the Mission Ridge Management Team by maintaining and troubleshooting technical systems and network infrastructure across the resort. This role operates in a dynamic mountain environment and requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, eager to learn, and capable of collaborating effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operation of all technical systems.
High school diploma or GED preferred. At least one year of guest service or related experience is highly beneficial. Familiarity with network infrastructure (firewalls, access points, switches) is important. Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Google Workspace, MacOS, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS is required.
This position requires the ability to remain composed under pressure, focus on detailed tasks, and effectively communicate technical information. Must be capable of physical labor, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and skiing/snowboarding while transporting equipment.
Work will occur both indoors and outdoors across varied mountain environments. Some technical equipment is located in remote areas accessible only by skiing or snowboarding; candidates must be blue-run capable while carrying tools or devices. Exposure to snow, cold, wind, and potential interaction with snowmobiles or snowcats is part of the daily routine. The pace of work can vary, with occasional high-pressure situations during peak resort operations.
